Gallery Walk Friday Oct. 5th

BlueStudioGallery joins the BEAD District and Gallery Walk Group this Friday, October 5th with its current showcase of Fine Art prints from renowned Photographer Tom Casalini's Private Collection, as well as two feature presentations of collaborator Dale Gardner/DuBarge Studios' Interactive Digital Media, on view  Fridays in October at Blue from 6pm to 10pm. Together, the installations show how technology and art can provide the experience of both mesmerizing interactive art and utilitarian entertainment convenience.

Outside @ Blue Studio Gallery (westbound-4th and College) Stop Light Theater is a public video art installation that can be  seen by motorists stopped westbound at the corner of 4th and College in downtown Bloomington. Short movie clips are synchronized to the traffic light at the intersection, and presented  in Blue's large upstairs window to stopped drivers until the light turns green. Pedestrians walking south on College can enjoy the show for as long as they like! Stop Light Theater will be shown after dark weekends through Oct. beginning with Gallery Walk the 5th.

Upstairs: Modern Surrealist Art Generator is an interactive video installation
that creates real-time generative art from the colors and motions of
the participants. As participants move in and out of the camera's
view, abstract forms are inserted across the video 'canvas.' The
generator's output produces an ever changing video painting reminiscent
of floating shapes of Salvador Dali and the linear lines and colors of
Gerhard Richter and Mark Rothko.

Get a look at Dale's Stop Light Movies in the South window, streetside at 4th and College, and join in this Interactive Media Installation upstairs at BlueStudioGallery, 116.5 S. College Avenue, Suite #10, on October 5th from 6:00-10:00 pm. Enter the green door to the left of The Chocolate Emporium.
