Aha!  ..Here it is. This is one of Susan Downs' marvelous rooster paintings. These birds are her own, and they all have personalities to rival that of most housepets! These two are duking it out to see who gets to rule the roost..Blue Studio opened downtown on Friday, September 23rd with a full show of Susan's very impressive barnyard body of work, along with a few barnyard friends: if you stopped by, you remember seeing some of her chickens in a little coop out on the sidewalk!  This exhibit will remain until the next one, but Susan works here in the studio, you can often see her up in the window from the street, painting in the fabulous light that pours in through the entire east wall...you can visit Susan's website at www.susandownsgallery.com, and don't forget the best way to see the art is to visit..!

Radio Blue 116.5

After much ado, Blue Studio has arrived at its new location and is installed, except for the windows, which will be fun, as there are two ten by twelve foot windows across the eastern wall of the space! Let the sunshine, indeed.

Now located at 116.5 S. College, just off the square, and upstairs, to the left of the Chocolate Emporium, Blue is already doing business with the Scrivener's bench, making custom menus, invitations and programs for two lovely weddings.

The Studio is open and featuring the work of oil painter Susan Downs and her rooster art, as well as the continued presence of Kim Ransdell's ingenious and inspiring Letterpress Prints.
